Lesbian Banned From Wearing Tux in Yearbook Photo

According to NBCWashington.com, a lesbian at Westlake High School in Waldorf, Md. was initially told that she could not wear a tuxedo in her yearbook picture and would instead have to wear a drape like the rest of the girls or get her picture removed completely. 

Ebonee Williams says she’s simply never felt comfortable in girl’s clothes, “I don't dress like a girl.  This is how I dress. I'll dress T-shirts and jeans. I don't really dress girly.  I don't think it's fair that if I don't feel comfortable wearing the drape that I should have to put it on.”

Ebonee’s mother was shocked that the school would try to ban her daughter from the yearbook after she has worked hard for four years to graduate and be part of the book along with the rest of her class.

I say, way to go Ebonee.  Those drapes suck anyway, from what I remember they are heavy, awkward, and do not in any way, shape, or form resemble what I would consider a nice-looking dress.  Plus, everyone knows how hot a woman can look in a tuxedo.  Enough said.
