As if Fox's Glee weren’t already great, the show just keeps finding ways to make me love it more. Monday's news was music to this sci-fi fan's ears: Buffy the Vampire Slayer writer-director Joss Whedon has been tapped to guest direct an episode of the Fox musical dramadey set to air later this season.
While Fox is home to Whedon's struggling drama Dollhouse, starring hottie and Buffy alum Eliza Dushku and has been known to stab Whedon fans in the heart (you know, canceling Firefly too soon), the network is starting to redeem itself.

First the network brought back Dollhouse for a second season in an eleventh-hour rescue for fans and creatives involved with the show. Second, the network recently announced that the Glee cast will hit the road for a national tour, American Idol-style. Now that Whedon will take the helm of the Ryan Murphy show, they're really making it hard for me to root against them.
