Despite the cancellation of her critically acclaimed but viewer-deprived drama Pushing Daisies, things are going well for Kristin Chenoweth.

Last month, she won a best supporting actress Emmy for her turn on the show as baker extraordinaire Olive Snook on Daisies, and this month, she's hot off a guest-starring role on Fox's freshman hit Glee. Now comes news, according to Entertainment Weekly, that she'll be reprising her role as McKinley High alumni April Rhodes, the boozed-up babe with a voice to die for.

The singer-actress, who played Galinda the Good Witch in the Broadway performance of Wicked, also is returning to the Main Stem opposite Will & Grace's Sean Hayes in Promises, Promises. The play, based on Billy Wilder's 1960 film The Apartment, opens April 25 at the Broadway Theater in New York.
Chenoweth, who performed Heart's "Alone" as well as "Maybe This Time" from Cabaret, is set to return to the high school musical dramadey sometime next year for at least one episode.
Considering the way she left the show - Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) felt she was a bad influence on the glee club - there's no telling how she could return.
