Golden Globe nominated actress and Broadway darling, Sarah Paulson, gives her first interview to the gay press to new SheWired contributor, her sister Rachel Paulson. Sarah has starred in Cupid, Studio Sixty on the Sunset Strip and Deadwood on television and she starred as Laura Wingfield in a critically acclaimed revival of The Glass Menagerie on Broadway.
The sisters get silly over Sarah's penchant for Lady Gaga and Alyssa Milano, discuss the now famous kiss Sarah gave her Tony-winning girlfriend Cherry Jones at the Tony Awards 2005 and chat about Sarah's upcoming stints on Law and Order: SVU and on Grey's Anatomy...and much more.

I'm adding Sarah Paulson to my list of
lesbians to have crushes on -- she's so
amazingly articulate in this interview when
speaking about her love for Cherry and the
importance/unimportance of the kiss. Great
interview! Two words: MORE, please!
Wow. That was a great interview. If Sarah P
had been born earlier [like in 1956), or had
lived in places other than in NYC and
LA...she would have understood why her
publicist said, 'what were you doing?' when
she kissed Cherry Jones at the 2005 Emmys.
[There is a reason they call it 'the
closet.')
Rachel P has that 'Larry King'
like knack for getting an interviewee to
discuss their feelings and emotions --
congrats to her for that.
Great interview. Sarah and Rachel are
adorable in their own right. Thanks for
giving us a slice of what Thanksgiving dinner
might be like at the Paulson house. I'm
waiting and hoping that Alyssa Milano -- who
is a big Tweeter -- tweets about Sarah's
admission of wanting to be Sam Micelli.
Not only are you two so cute as sisters, but
you're both articulate and comfortable in
front of the camera. Thanks Rachel for asking
things we want to know and Thanks Sarah for
answering candidly. I was especially struck
by the comment, the more that is known about
the actor the harder it is to disappear into
the character, I have that problem as a
viewer sometimes. I look forward to more
good interviews like this one.
Great interview! This interview provided a
lot of insight into Sarah Paulson, the
actress and the individual. The camaraderie
between Sarah and Rachel was wonderful.
