In Part 2 of SheWired's exclusive interview with Jennifer Beals discussing her book of photographs she shot of her The L Word costars, the actress shares how she misses Bette Porter, what she thought of the way The L Word ended and if she’ll reunite with series creator Ilene Chaiken on her upcoming reality series The Real L Word: Los Angeles this summer.

SheWired: Do you miss The L Word?
Jennifer Beals: Sometimes I do, but I've been working on so many great projects. And also, quite frankly, I've been living with the book since we stopped shooting. It's not like I don't get to see everybody because I see them endlessly on my computer, going through layouts or different images, and I hear them on the tape recorder, and I talk to almost everybody quite frequently. So it's not as if I'm not in touch with the cast. I certainly miss Bette's righteousness sometimes and her ability to be so articulate in the heat of the moment, for the most part. But I have to say I mostly miss Bette more than anything, because I get to see everybody else. She was a good friend to have.
Would you reprise Bette in a spin-off that wasn't The Farm?
It depends on what it was. And I'd have to talk to Ilene. There's so many details of what would happen. I would never say "no" categorically. I'd have to see what the details were.

A lot of fans are still clamoring for an L Word movie. Is that something you'd be open to?
Yeah, sure, I would be interested in doing it. But Ilene is so busy (http://shewired.com/Article.cfm?ID=23763), she's got so many projects going on. And I'm hoping to work with Ilene again because it'd be fun. It was a really good partnership, and she was really easy to talk to and very fair and creative and a good listener.
Speaking of Ilene, she has The L Word-inspired reality show The Real L Word: Los Angeles coming up this summer.
I know!
Any chance you'll pop in on that?
Hell no! (Laughing) Hell no! Because that drama will be too deep! I can't go there! I can't! You know what I'm saying!
Of course, the lesbian drama stereotype - it's a stereotype because in this case it'll true!
(Laughing) Yeah! Oh my gosh, but it will be really funny to watch it. It will probably be the only reality show that I will watch.
