If you are looking for something to do, please make plans to watch the winter Olympics, beginning February 12. Leading up to the opening of the games in Vancouver, B.C. the big story is not figure skating or anybody on the mens' team (except maybe Shaun White).
The person to watch is a downhill skier named Lindsey Vonn. She is so much better than any other female skier and the only way she won't ski away with all the gold is if she doesn't show up.

Where Bode Miller was a lightning rod four years ago, the 5 foot 10 inch Lindsey Vonn is friendly and beautiful and a sponsor's dream (think Michael Phelps at the 2009 summer games). To fully understand her hype look no further than the cover of Sports Illustrated and the Olympic Preview Issue:

Recently a few women groups have denounced the provocative pose of Lindsey on the cover of Sports Illustrated. Provocative or not, its a great cover of a great skiier - not to mention a woman made the cover -- and not only the Swim Suit Edition!
