Those The L Word alums aren't wasting anytime lining up new jobs since the lesbian juggernaut of a show went off the air earlier this month. Jennifer Beals has signed up for a stint on CBS Lie to Me, and now, Kate Moennig is slated for Three Rivers, a pilot about a team of transplant surgeons.
Moennig, who embodied the L Word's resident lothario Shane McCutcheon for six seasons, is slated to play - against type? - a "self-destructive" lung / heart transplant fellow for the show, from CBS Par, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The show derives its title from its Rashomon story-telling style in which each story is told from three points of view, the donor's, the patient's and the surgeon's.
Three Rivers also stars Daniel Henney, who's bound for big-screen success playing David North / Agent Zero in the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
