The most famous Page 3 pin up girl ever in the U.K., Samantha Fox announces plans to wed her manager and partner Myra Stratton.
Fox, most well known for her popular nude pictorials and eighties pop songs, tells OK! Magazine of the nuptial’s planned for England, “We might get Liz Mitchell of BoneyM to do the ceremony - she’s a pastor now… and have the do [party] in Siberia.” She also reveals Motorhead’s singer Lemmy will “definitely” be attendance and possibly give the bride away.
Fox who has a large gay fan base first raised questions of her own sexuality when she served as judge for a lesbian beauty contest in 1999. Then in 2003 she put all rumors to rest and made her romance with Stratton public.
"I can't keep saying, 'Maybe,' or denying it,” she said at the time. “It is time to let people know where my heart is. People keep trying to say I'm a lesbian. I don't know what I am. All I know is that I'm in love with Myra. I love her completely and want to spend the rest of my life with her."
