Coming off a suspenseful and revealing Season three Summer Finale, and less than three weeks before its second annual Halloween episode, ABC Family president Michael Riley announced Thursday that the smash hit Pretty Little Liars, costarring Shay Mitchell as out character – and ladykiller—Emily Fields, will be returning for a fourth season.
While fans of the teen drama are excited that the girls from Rosewood will be back for another season, the news isn’t all that surprising, considering Liars ranks as ABC Family’s top series of all time, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show is also a big hit with the ladies, THR reports, boasting a cable TV No. 1 rating in several demos, including women 18-34 (1.2 million), female teens (1 million), and females 12-34 (2.2 million).
Pretty Little Liars' 4th season will debut in mid-2013, while the second half of Season 3 will pick up next January.
Here's hoping Emily's current love interest Paige (Lindsey Shaw) will stick around for another season. Who’s ready for another season of Emily breaking hearts around Rosewood?
Pretty Little Liars' Halloween special airs on Oct. 23.
