Seattle Grace out residents Callie (Sara Ramirez) and Arizona (Jessica Capshaw), have survived a car accident, a long distance relationship, a hospital shooting spree, and most recently, a plane crash. Grey’s Anatomy showrunner Shonda Rhimes recently wrote on her blog, “To have your partner hate you. To have your sex life taken away. To have your BEST FRIEND taken away. Arizona has been taken from her and Callie is doing her best to survive that." Arizona unfairly blamed her lady love for the loss of her limb, but things are slowly getting back to a new normal for the couple. Rhimes has promised viewers that by Valentine’s Day the old, happy, playful and sexy couple would be back in swing!
