As a self-confessed show queen who loves everything musical theater and awards shows, I couldn’t pass up posting this parody of Anne Hathaway pining for an Oscar to the tune of “I Dreamed a Dream.”

A shoo-in to win every best supporting actress award out there this year after she chopped off her chestnut locks and gnawed on pieces of bark to drop weight for her role as the prostitute and mother with a heart of gold Fantine in the Tom Hooper’s big-screen version of Les Miserables, Anne has already scooped up the Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, and Critics Choice Award. But somehow, in every speech, she seems to annoy a contingent of Hathaway haters who just don’t buy into her speeches teeming with humility.

Regardless of the haters, Anne gave a heartrending interpretation of the beloved tune, and chanteuse and actress Emma Fitzpatrick (The Collection) has tapped into that with her Oscar begging parody entitled “For your Consideration.”

“After winning best supporting actress at the SAG Awards, Golden Globes and Critics Choice, ANNE HATHAWAY reminds the Academy, one last time, why she must (and will) win at the 85th Academy Awards,” reads the video synopsis.
