"We are absolutely thrilled for Khristianne Uy, and wish her all the best in her future endeavors," Chris Coelen, executive producer of the series, told UPI. "She was a real competitor this season and was certainly entertaining to watch each and every week. We're happy to call her the first winner of The Taste."
"The fact of the matter is she just dominated the entire competition," said Brian Malarkey, Uy's mentor throughout the show. "She was always in the top, bar-none just the best in the competition — just really really proud of her and everything she's done."
