Sherri Gray is a 72-year-old grandmother from Nashville, Tenn., whose niece recently got engaged to her girlfriend. Gray, being the tech-savvy grandma that she is, wanted to give the ladies  something memorable for a wedding gift… So she composed and recorded a song for the couple in support of marriage equality called "(What if We Are) Just Like You/Shannon and Lisa's Song," and it's pretty much the sweetest thing we've ever seen. AfterEllen confirms that Gray will perform the song at her niece's wedding, and we bet there won't be a dry eye in the house.

Watch the video below, and let's help make Grandma Gray a YouTube sensation for her compassionate, loving support of her family, and, let's get real — for wearing that fabulous sweatshirt.

Gray told UK LGBT news outlet Gay Star News that she doesn't consider herself an activist, but "gets goddamn mad by narrow-mindedness and prejudice and crazy stuff."

Watch the video below, and have a tissue ready. It's incredibly sweet, and makes us want to adopt Gray as our honorary grandmother, though she's already got eight grandkids… What's a few million more?
