Lesbian Cougars Now Have a Dating Site to Hunt for Cubs

Look out, Match.com! There is a new dating site ready to help mature lesbians who are looking for young Sapphic love. According to the website, Lesbian Cougar Dating is for women who “enjoy being in the company of lesbian cubs who are willing to experiment and let go.” The site makes no mention of the inherent predatory nature of the 'cougar,' but we'll just let that slide for now.

For those of you not up on the dating lingo, lesbian cougars and cubs are the same as their straight counter-parts. Cougars are generally 10 or more years older than their partner. Cubs are the younger partner, and prefer a more mature mate. According to the site, “Lesbian cubs are also attracted to lesbian cougar women who are poised, experienced, independent and assertive.”

Lesbian Cougar Dating’s main focus is the relationship. The site makes no mention of money, and according to the site’s creators, it’s really all about maturity and attraction:

“We felt the need for a classy and chic dating site for lesbian cougar women and their female cubs, just like there are dating sites for cougar women and male cubs.”

How's that for a skewed kind of equality? Here’s to some happy hunting for those of you going out to prowl!
