Dr. Susan Love's Free Breast Cancer Forum Hosted by the LA Gay and Lesbian Center

Breast cancer researcher and author Dr. Susan Love will be the featured speaker at the LA Gay & Lesbian Center’s free forum and Q&A session “An Evening with Dr. Susan Love,” at 7:00pm on May 22, 2012 at the Center’s Village at Ed Gould Plaza.

Love is the President of the Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation, a non-profit that aims to discover the causes of breast cancer and ways to prevent it. The Foundation’s mission is to use innovative research, education and advocacy to improve the quality of women’s health and eradicate breast cancer. Love is a board member of the National Cancer Institute, a founding board member of the National Breast Cancer Coalition and the author of Dr. Susan Love’s Breast Book and Dr. Love’s Menopause and Hormone Book.

At the forum hosted by LAGLC, Love will address the latest women’s health and breast cancer research news, as well as discuss research on the risk of breast cancer for lesbians, bisexual women and transgender people.

The forum is free, but an RSVP is required for admission (RSVP here). If you are unable to attend in-person, the forum will be streamed live online. Tune in on the LAGLC website.
