Texas Plans to Amp Up Rules Around Bullying

Texas lawmakers intend to hammer out an authoritative definition of bullying early next year. At least seven bills relating to bullying in schools and online have already been filed for consideration in the legislature next session, which opens on January 11. Two of those bills would require schools to report annually on its incidents of bullying, making note of which were based on race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.
