WATCH: Response to Racist Backlash Against Biracial Cheerios Commercial Features Lesbian Moms

You might have seen this sweet Cheerios commercial featuring a little girl asking her mom if it's true that Cheerios are good for the heart, before proceeding to pour the cereal all over her sleeping dad's chest to keep him healthy.

You might have seen this sweet Cheerios commercial featuring a little girl asking her mom if it's true that Cheerios are good for the heart, before proceeding to pour the cereal all over her sleeping dad's chest to keep him healthy. It's a lighthearted, clever spot that presumably makes most parents say "awww."

But some racist asshats couldn't get their bigoted brains past the minor detail that the parents featured in the ad were an interracial couple. They bombarded the YouTube video with such hateful, violent comments that Cheerios was forced to disable the commenting function.

In response to the controversy, filmmaker Kenji shot a satirical reply with a kickass punchline simply declaring, "Eat it, haters." EURWeb posted the video this morning, and it caught our eye for obvious reasons: the parody swaps the African-American dad for an African-American mom as the recipient of a daughter's well-meaning, messy effort. Clearly, Kenji is a fan of The Fosters, too. Watch the poignant parody below:
